f a bird’s nest chance to be before thee in the way in any tree, or on the ground, whether they be young ones, or eggs, and the dam sitting upon the young, or upon the eggs, thou shalt not take the dam with the young: but thou shalt in any wise let the dam go, and take the young to thee; that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days.
You shall not do mitzvot, as if you did not slaughter an ox and its son in one day, to teach us mercy or to preserve the sex
And a positive commandment, to send the mother. She hovers over the nest, wants to come back
M.A., which is the opposite of “Talmud”, to see the painful mother hovering over the nest and worrying
The opposite of what the Torah teaches
But this picture of the mother caring for her sons is important.
Let us remember that the name of God appears for the first time in the Torah in Eve’s mouth after the birth of Cain – I have bought God. The mother who gives birth understands the Shekhina
Do not say that the stomach is merciful, but do it as a mitzvah. Clipping
Yaakov vowed that God would be my God, that I would show mercy not out of a good heart, but in accordance with the law.
I do this not because the Creator is merciful, but because this is what He commands us to do
His Torah is the Torah of mercy. Gifts of the poor, shmitta, and tz’ar ba’alei hayim
This picture –
The midrash explains that the bird is a symbol of the Shekhina who wants to return to the nest – to the Temple
Our soul. It is the Shekhina within us
Or to our soul that wants to return to the body every morning, gradually, through the practice of mitzvot
The salary is mentioned here:
Longevity – an easy mitzvah to fulfill
Even in honor of father and mother, it is a heavy mitzvah to fulfill
They are both the same salary
To teach us not to calculate the reward for the mitzvot
And that the real wages are not material
Elisha ben Abuya – a student of R. A. – the son listened to his father (honoring his father) and climbed a ladder to send the dove. He fell and died.
Where did they get hired? He left Judaism and connected with the Romans, his name is different
He ended up losing his possessions and dying poor. His daughter appeared to Rabbi Yehuda HaNasi, hungry and neglected, with a baby in her hands and a request for charity.
Rabbi Yehuda said, “It is written, ‘Send the mother, and you shall take the children for yourself.’ He raised the baby, who was the greatest of the generation, who became Rabbi Yaakov, who was always like him.
His grandson, Rabbi Yaakov, said that if I had lived in my grandfather’s day, I would have told him the reward – longevity in the World to Come
The Debate in Judaism According to Joseph Flavius – The Sadducees did not believe in the World to Come. The Pharisees Believed
According to the rabbis and the sages of the Mishna – is there a reward in this world?
Ben Azai – Elisha’s friend says:
That’s what I learn from sending the nest. Let us look at its place in the parasha. We learn from the place in the parasha. It has a special place that shows the reward and punishment.
Behind it in the affair is a chain of transgressions, each leading to the other,
A Beautiful Woman, A Hated Woman, A Rebellious Son and a Teacher, A Death Sentence – David and Avshalom
And before it in the parasha, a chain of mitzvot leads to the other, each of which leads to the other
Sending out the nest, a railing, a wig, clothes, an ox and a donkey, a field and a vineyard in each one is a mitzva
In the first part, a person falls from one offense to another,
In the second part, a person ascends from one mitzva to another.
Like v
The turning point is the dispatch of the nest. The bird full of mercy helps it stop the fall and start its ascent
The reward in this world is an opportunity to perform a new mitzvah, and the reward of longevity is reserved for the World to Come
The punishment in this world for an offense is a new offense, and it also has a punishment reserved for the World to Come
Sending out the nest is the turning point. A merciful person from heaven to help him stop the fall and start the ascent
It takes the power of the bird to turn its heart
Bnei Noah: A Similar Principle
A person falls into the chain of the seven commandments – goat, touch, skewer, theft, injustice
We are structured this way – the chain is found in literature, it can be identified in many novels and movies
Like the great Gasefi, he falls step by step according to this order, and this is acceptable to the reader
And like King David with Bat-Sheva
The entire book of Genesis is built on the fact that humanity falls from one mitzva to another
A person should pray that the Creator will give him the strength to turn upside down, to ascend. How will he begin?
It is not at the beginning – in faith in God – that you believe in God and rise up from the sewer – but on the contrary, from the end, from Yaakov, out of kindness and charity… Not like in Christianity
that he should perform a mitzva of kindness, such as sending the nest away, towards a person or her life… Like Yaakov – kindness in law – but not as a mitzva and a doer
Then the Shekhina will help him overcome the other transgressions
When he reads – it is not by chance, the Kabba summoned the mitzva
Noach was saved from the flood because he was pleasing in the eyes of God – he showed kindness to Adam and his life
He went with God, and he liked the attribute of mercy in my eyes.
That was his grade, and that’s why he was saved.
And from there, with the help of G-d, we will ascend and overcome the rest of the mitzvot, fourth, third, second, and first.
The most difficult ones are 1 and 2, which man fails to do
And we need the help of the Messiah
The Sending of the Nest Releases the Shekhina and Brings Elijah and the Messiah
