Eating Lustful Meat in Israel and the Children of Noahide
For he will expand:
In the wilderness, they ate only the flesh of sacrifices, mostly peace offerings, in the Temple courtyard
In the Land of Israel – Victims in Jerusalem and the Surrounding Area
Because it expands – a distant place, it is impossible to sacrifice, what do we do?
And you said, “You eat meat, for your soul desires to eat meat.”
There is a hint here that the Torah is not satisfied with eating meat that is lustful. Animal desire, which increases with financial success
You will eat meat but under the following conditions, restrictions
And you shall sacrifice your cattle and your flocks. When I commanded you,
The command is about the sacrifice.
“We have learned that there are commands regarding the sacrifice of how one should slaughter and the laws of slaughter that were given to Moshe at Sinai” (Rashi)
It is permissible to eat meat only after slaughter, and you have not killed it on its own or killed it in any other way. Why? See below

In other words, the sons of Noach were already commanded to eat an animal organ and to eat blood, and Moshe repeats this to Israel.

The prohibition of an animal organ and the eating of blood. It is not “another mitzvah” but a basic part of the covenant of the rainbow under which all humanity lives

The passage of the answer to Noach is one of the most beautiful in the Bible

But you shall not eat flesh in his soul
Three restrictions as in our parasha
Until now, Adam and his sons were forbidden to eat meat, but from now on it will be permissible
On condition that you do not eat “flesh in its soul,” i.e., a living organ, and do not eat blood
Noah, you have chosen to sacrifice to me, and I agree to allow you to eat meat
And the third condition – the mitzva of the prohibition of murder – in detail, all the categories of murder, such as loss of knowledge, abortion, indirect murder, and direct murder
And this is an answer to Noah. You take care of a person’s heart – it’s in the hands of the person himself. Until now, in his childhood, man’s heart inclination was bad and cruel from his youth, similar to life in nature, but man matures and can change his heart and become less cruel
In order to learn to be less cruel, you must teach your children not to eat an animal organ and not to drink or eat blood
And that’s not enough. You must teach them Torah, the laws of a murderer – for in the image of God He created man
If you and your children follow this path, the heavenly court will also change, and God will be less strict, and the Shekhina will prevail in the world and in the heart of man.
For the good of you and your children
Otherwise the flood will come back!
Let us note the parallel between the covenant of the rainbow and our parasha
Until now, Israel was forbidden to eat meat outside the Temple, but from now on it will be permitted on condition that you do not eat animal organs or blood. And there is a strict care that was not taken before regarding slaughter and the extraction of blood
The same is true in the story. Noah. Until then, man was forbidden to eat meat. From now on, it will be permissible, but only on condition – neither an animal organ nor blood.
