Is Genesis Compatible with Science?
(Ultra- Short Version)
Can Genesis be matched with our scientific knowledge?
As we’ve said, the stakes are high. For if we’ve discredited Genesis,
we’ve also discredited Moses’ entire message,
and have discredited the name of ELKM who stands for the Absolute Truth!
Yet, on the other hand, if we have found Genesis credible,
compatible with science, then WOW!
How could Moses tell such a credible story 3,500 years ago?
WHO TOLD HIM THE STORY?
And if the story of Genesis is true,
It comes out that Moses knew how our planet looked
billions of years ago, stage by stage!
Isn’t it a miracle in our hands?
So how can we summarize what science says?
Luckily, the History Channel (HC) recently published and aired
a wonderful work, a set of videos called
“How the Earth was Made.”
In it, the HC presents all we know about Earth,
from Archaeology, Biology, Astronomy, Geology, Anthropology
and many other branches of science.
It came out as a blessing for our classes, for we can use this work
as a platform for our comparison of Genesis to science.
Moreover, we can use the HC videos as a good control,
for its narrator brags in it that it was made independent on the Bible.
The narrator says:
‘For thousands of years Mankind has believed that the world was created
in just one week,5,780 years ago. Now, however, we know better!”
Well, let us compare Genesis to what the HC says!
Genesis Compared to Science
Day by Day
Although science does not recognize Days within the history of Earth,
it does describe STAGES.
Let’s compare those STAGES recognized by the HC,
to Moses’ Days of CREATION. Let’s go Day by Day.
In the following, we’ll first consider what the HC says about a stage,
then compare it to what Moses says about a Day.
COMPARING THE FIRST DAY of CREATION
1: The HC Account of the First Stage
According to the HC, the world began with the Big Bang 13.8 b human years ago.
Science can tell what happened next, by the fracture of the minute. In essence,
Space appeared and expended vastly,
Entropy began to decline; Chaos turned into Order,
Energy (Electromagnetic, Light) began to convert into Matter by Einstein’s formula,
Gasses consolidated into solid Matter, Water appeared in space,
inorganic molecules were backed in exploding Nova…
Nine billion years fast forward, 4.5 b years ago,
Planet Earth was consolidated into a ball, with the Moon circulating it.
Earth was covered by hot, streaming lava, with temperature of 8,000 F
caused by radioactive decay, excluded life. hence the name RED PLANET.
Then Earth’s surface cooled off, due to slowing of the radioactive decay.
Crusted, solid rock formed on the Earth surface, on which we live today.
That crusted surface would allow water to settle on it.
2: Moses’ Account of the First Day
Moses seems to concur, saying:
(1:1) In the beginning, ELHM created the Heavens and the Earth
(1:2) And the Earth was Tohu and Bohu (Chaotic) and darkness
on the face of the abyss (deep.) And the Spirit of ELKM was
hovering over the waters.
(1:3) And ELHM said let it be Light and there was Light.
(1:4) And ELHM saw that the Light was good and ELKM
separated between the Light and Darkness.
(1: 5) And ELHM called the Light Day, and to the darkness He called Night.
And there was evening and there was morning, ONE DAY.”
Moses mentions a “Beginning” to the world, something that the ancient Greeks denied,
and science accepted only recently, in the 19th century.
Moses also describes chaotic Earth – “tohu and bohu” –
that CAN fit the hot, melted, streaming lava,
and “Teom, Deep,” that CAN allude to Space.
Then he mentions Water.
Hence, the story told by HC, CAN be matched with Moses’ Genesis,
something you can’t do with any myth told in his time.
But Moses also adds something that science would never say,
that “ELKM saw that it was good,” meaning – that ELKM passed Judgment
and He found the stage ready for the next Day, next Floor.
This “good” verdict CAN fit the crusty surface that appeared on Earth
at the end of the era, enabling water to accumulate on it –
which is indeed the next Day and the next phase.
Moses also says: “And there was evening and there was morning, ONE DAY.”
As we’ve said, this Day couldn’t be our day, since the luminaries would be
seen regularly only later, on the Fourth Day.
In fact, Moses defines here the length of a DAY of CREATION.
Again, how long was a Day? –
The time it took CREATION to proceed from the Beginning
to having in it Light, Matter and Water.
As we’ve seen, it could have been2.1 b years, on the average.
How extraordinary, how exceptional it is, that Moses’ account
of the Beginning does NOT involve any rivalry, jealousy. sexual perversion
or violence among gods!
How different is Moses’ story from all the myths of his time!
So, how could anyone count Genesis among the Bronze Age myths?
COMPARING THE SECOND DAY OF CREATION
1: The Scientific Account
The HC says that after the formation of the crusty surface,
from 4.4 b years to 4.1b years ago (300 M years span)
water accumulated on the rocky crust.
From where did the Water come? The scientists say:
Some waters came out of the cooling, rocks “bellow,”
while most water arrived from “above”, from space!
The scientists say that Earth passed at that stage
through a segment in space full of giant icy comets.
Thus, for the next 300 m years, Earth was “bombarded”
with so much icy rain, that finally It was completely covered
by gushing water. No dry land was seen yet,
and any rock was crushed by the gushing water.
The high temp and toxic gases precluded any life.
Earth is therefore named at that stage: “WATER WORLD.”
Note: on January 30, 1908, a giant icy comet hit Siberia,
containing 30,000 tons of water. The devastation that it inflicted on
the environment was equal to an explosion of12 mega ton nuclear bomb.
The scientists say that this comet was a tiny fraction detached from a
bigger comet called Encke, still traveling in Space.
2: Moses Account of Day Two
To compare, here is what Moses says about Day Two:
(1:6) And ELoHiM said Let it be a firmament in the midst of the Waters,
And let it divide Water from Water,
(1:7) And ELoHiM made the firmament, and He separated
the Waters which were underneath the firmament,
from the Waters which are above the firmament, and it was so.
(1: 8) And ELoHIM called the firmament Sky, Sham-mayim (“there are the waters”.)
And there was evening and there was morning, Day Two.
As the Second Day dawned, Moses says,
ELKM “separated the Water Above from the Water Bellow.”
No Dry Land is mentioned yet, no life, not even vegetation, Just water.
Can you find a better match between Moses and science?
Hence, we have so far:
The RED PLANET corresponding to Moses’ FIRST DAY.
The WATER WORLD corresponding to Moses’ SECOND DAY.
COMPARING THE THIRD DAY of CREATION
1: The Scientific Account
The Watery World, the HC says, ended 4.1b years ago by
volcanic eruptions at the ocean’s bed. A new rock, Granite, appeared.
The Granite, unlike the older rock, could withstand the ceaseless assaults
of the ferocious waves. Granite is also lighter than the older rocks.
Thus, for the first time, Granite Islands were formed over the waters.
From 4.1b to 1.5b years ago, the Granite Islands gradually consolidated
into the first Super Continent, Rodenia (Mother of all continents.)
Most of South Africa today sits over Granite Continent.
The shores of the Super Continent can be traced today by
the blackish, smooth rocks that are the remains of Rodenia.
In contrast to all other rocks on Earth, these blackish ones
are bereft of any fossil of a living creature, not even bacteria.
Hence the new name “GRANITE PLANET.”
2: Moses’ Account of the First Half of
The THIRD Day
As the Third Day of CREATION dawned, Moses says,
(1:9). ELoHiM said Let the Water under the Sky
be gathered together into one place and let
the dry land appear, and it was so.
(1:10) “ELoHiM called the dry land ground,
and to the Water Gathering He called Seas,
and ELoKiM saw that it was good “
Amazingly, Moses concurs in full with science, saying that
at first, Earth was covered with water, and only later
ELHM separated the Dry Land.
Moses’ story CAN match the appearance of the first Super Continent.
Amazingly, Moses does not mention any form of Life yet, not even vegetation.
So, again, how could Moses know how Earth looked billions of years ago?
We have, so far, the following good match:
I: The RED PLANTE matches Moses’ FIRST DAY
II: The WATER WORLD matches Moses’ SECOND DAY
IIIa: The GRANIT WORLD matches Moses’ first part of the THIRD DAY
SEEDING LIFE ON EARTH
1: According to Science
The HC explains:
The Granite Islands and the Super Continent were conducive
for the appearance of the first life forms on their shallow, sloping shores.
The first life form appeared 3.5b years ago in the form of a mono cellular algae,
called Stromatolites, that settle on the sloppy shores. enjoying the abundance
of sunlight, while living under shallow water.
These Stromatolites had an important talent: they performed Photosynthesis.
They split the CO2 of the air into carbon, which they used for their shells,
and Oxygen which they released into the water and the air.
The Stromatolites are still seen today on remote beaches like in Australia.
No one knows where they came from or how.
“These tiny creatures are our true fathers and mothers,” the HC says,
since all life forms would evolve from them.
From 3.5 to 1.5b years ago, the Stromatolites evolved into Vegetation.
First into ‘grass,’ then ‘shrubs’ and then ‘trees.’ No mobile life yet on our planet.
The vast amount of Oxygen turned the atmosphere into blue.
Earth is dubbed the BLUE PLANET.
2: Moses’ Account of the Second Half
of the THIRD Day
First, Moses tells us something that science can never tell:
That before seeding life on Earth, ELKM passed a crucial judgment on Earth,
as it says “And ELKM saw that it was good…” (Genesis 1: 10)
This was an unusual “middle Day judgment,” since all other Judgments
done by ELKM took place at the “end of the Days.”
In fact, Earth stood on a crossroad: Would it see Life on it or not?
The details of that crucial judgment will be given later in Genesis Chapters 2-4.
Here at Chapter 1, Moses says that – luckily for us – ELKM’s verdict was that
“it was good,” and the Earth was ready for the next phase, which is
seeding Life on Earth.
(Such a crucial midday judgment was also done on the Sixth Day,
before making Adam.)
Here is what Moses says about seeding Life on Earth:
(1:11) “And ELoHiM said let the Earth bring forth
grass, herb yielding SEED and fruit trees yielding fruits after its kind
whose SEEDS is in itself, upon the Earth, and it was so.
(1:12) “And the Earth brought forth grass, herb yielding SEEDS
after its kind, and trees yielding fruits whose SEEDS was in itself
after its kinds. And ELoHiM saw that it was good.
(1:13) And there was evening and there was morning, Day Three.
Moses, like science, mentions “seed,” that CAN mean “seed of life”
Then he mentions grass, shrubs and trees.
Amazingly, Moses does NOT mention yet any mobile life!
Let’s point out that
no one in Moses’ time told such a story,
that at first, Earth was covered only by water,
then appeared the Dry Land, with no life on it,
and only then life was ‘seeded’ on the Dry Land,
developing into grass, shrubs and trees
with no mobile life yet on Earth!
Who then told Moses such a credible story, 3,500 years ago?
Having grown up in the home of the pagan Pharaoh,
how could Moses tell a story unknown to anyone in his tim
3: The End of the Era
According to science
HC says that next, Earth was hit by a catastrophe
that eliminated all the Vegetation on Rodenia.
A devastating, long Ice Age descended on our planet
that lasted from 0.7b to 0.65b years ago (about 50 M years)
and decimated all the Vegetation on Dry Land,
yet preserving it in the Sea.
What brought the Ice? Some scientists blame the expansion of Rodenia
that blocked the warm currents in the oceans. Earth ‘simply’ cooled.
Other scientists blame the Ice to a tilt of Earth’s axis.
Earth looked like a SNOW BALL flying in space.
4: Moses’ Account of the
End of the THIRD Day
Moses says that at the end of the THIRD Day,
ELHM passed Judgment on the things He had created earlier,
meaning on the Vegetation that He had created earlier
on the THIRD Day. Here is the Torah’s text:
(1: 3) “And ELKM saw that everything was good,
And it was evening and it was morning, Day THREE (was over)”
As we’ve already learned, ELKM’s Judgment is harsh yet just
ELHM builds, and destroys, as He deems necessary,
according to His Plan. He gives life and He take life away
in absolute Justice (with no Mercy).
Under ELHM’s rule, creatures that would not support the next Day,
the next Floor, are eliminated. Creatures that would support the next Day
are allowed to live on.
Thus, at the end of the THIRD Day,
the All-Mighty JUDGE ELKM eliminated
all that would not support the FOURTH and FIFTH Days.
.
This harsh verdict CAN perfectly fit the devastating Ice Age
that descended on Earth and decimated all the Vegetation on Dry Land
yet preserved it in the Sea.
And since ELHM said that it was good,
It means that the Vegetation in the water was ready
for the next stage, the appearance of Mobile Life
IN THE WATER.
COMPARING THE FOURTH DAY of CREATION
1: The Scientific Account
As we’ve just said, according to the HC,
the Ice Age that lasted 50 M years (From 0.7b to 0.65b years ago)
was caused by a change in the tilt of the Earth’s axis.
Moreover, the scientists say, as the Earth’ axis was stabilized,
the length of day and night was fixed,
as well as the Earth’s seasons.
2: Moses’ Account of the FOURTH Day
“(1:14) And ELoHiM said let there be luminaries in the firmament of the Sky
to divide the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons
and for the days and years.
(1:15) And let them be for lights in the firmament of the sky to give light upon
the Earth, and it was so.
(1:16) And ELoHiM made the two great luminaries, the Greater luminary
to rule the day, and the smaller luminary to rule the night, and the stars also.
(1:17) And ELoHiM placed them in the firmament of the Sky to give light upon Earth.
(1:18) And to rule over the day, and over the night, and to divide the
Light from the Darkness. And ELoHiM saw that it was Good.
(1:19) And it was evening and it was morning, a Fourth Day.
Although the Luminaries were created earlier in the First Day,
they were seen regularly from Earth only on the Fourth Day.
So regularly, that calendars for seasons could be established.
Note that Moses does not mention any mobile life yet,
not even in the waters.
How could he tell such a story, that does perfectly match our science?
So far, we have:
I: The RED PLANTE matches Moses’ FIRST DAY
II: The WATER WORLD matches Moses’ SECOND DAY
III a. The GRANITE WORLD matches Moses’ first part of the THIRD DAY
III b. The BLUE PLANET matches Moses’ second half of the THIRD DAY
IV: The ICE BALL matches Moses’ FOURTH DAY
COMPARING THE FIFTH DAY of CREATION
1: The Scientific Account
The long ICE AGE ended 650 m years ago (0.650 b years) by
volcanic eruptions all over the Planet.
Tectonic Plates activity split the Super Continent
into many sub-continents that moved away from each other.
As a result, the Earth’s temperature warmed up.
The volcanic activity spewed abundance of nutrients into the waters
promoting mobile life in it.
The first Mobile Life appeared in the Oceans (Cambrian Period.)
The scientists relate that development to the
stabilization of the days and nights (of the previous Forth Day.)
This stabilization prompted Vegetation in the waters to develop circadian cycle,
namely, shutting down at night and opening up at daytime.
That ‘circadian cycle’ is crucial for the health of any
nervous system of mobile life.
‘Soon’ – in geological scale – the first mobile life appeared in the water,
first warms, then small fish then bigger fish to its kinds.
By 500 m years ago, the ocean “exploded” with myriad species
of swimming creatures.
“Earth would never see again so many species in the waters,” says the HC.
Moreover, the first struggle for life appeared in the water.
Weird “Fish” appeared. The first teeth, the first smelling organ,
first eye, first skeleton, first leg, first tail –
all developed first in the waters during that period.
Moreover, the struggle for life taught the creatures in the water
to masquerade themselves, to fool predators or their own prey.
The ability to cheat, to take advantage of, to escape danger,
all these biological “moral” functions first evolved in the water.
The “Animal Kingdom came to Earth in the sea,” says the HC.
In contrast, life on Dry Land was first held back by
the heavy, lethal UV Sun’s radiation. But that changed too.
Around 500 m years ago, the sky developed enough Ozone
that shielded the Dry Land. This allowed the Vegetation
to crawl from the sea onto the Dry Land, forming huge swamps.
MOST OF OUR COAL COMES FROM THAT PERIOD.
The stabilization of Earth’s axis brought regular tides.
These tides left on the shores some “fish.”
In time, they evolved into Birds of their kinds,
which flew back to the water to catch other fish.
Other fish on shores became amphibians,
like Crocodiles that caught birds.
Flying dragons and insects appeared, along with lizards.
Some lizards were large as three storied buildings, and they
could fly 15,000 miles non-stop. They are considered the most
efficient flying creatures that Earth has ever seen.
So efficient they flew, that their shapes inspired the USA Airforce
to build the best Jet fighter ever.
Earth is now called The GREEN PLANET.
2: Moses’ Account of the FIFTH DAY
At the End of the FOURTH Day, ELHM passed a judgment
and said that it was good. Conditions were ripe for Earth
to enter the next, Fifth Day.
As the FIFTH Day dawned, ELKM said:
(1:20) ELoHiM said: The waters shall teem with swarms of living creatures,
and Flying creatures shall fly over the land and over the Sky’s firmament
(1: 21) ELKM created the large Crocodiles and all the living souls that crawls
with which the water teems and every particular species if winged flying creature.
And ELHM saw that it was good.
(1: 22) And ELHM blessed them saying be fruitful and multiply
and fill the water in the sea and let the birds be abandon on the Earth…”
According to Moses, ELKM ordered the water to
“Teem with swarms of living creatures,” creating
the first Mobile Life in the water.
Who told this to Moses? No one in his time said such a story!
Moreover, Moses mentions Fish first, then “creatures that would fly over land.”
This CAN fit Birds, Flying Dragons, other Insects and Lizards that could fly.
Then Moses mentions Crocodiles, amphibians that lived in the swamps
at that stage in Earth history.
Let’s note that Moses mentions neither beasts nor cattle.
Moreover, unlike in other Days, Moses says here ELHM blessed
the fish and birds in this time period, which fits the “explosion of life”
in the Cambrian Period.
As we recall, the HC says that life in the sea “exploded’
with so many species, never to be seen again later on.
Now tell me – how could Moses, 3,500 years ago, know
How Earth looked like millions years ago?
So far, we have:
I: The RED PLANET matches Moses’ FIRST DAY
II: The WATER WORLD matches Moses’ SECOND DAY
III a: The GRANITE WORLD matches Moses’ first part of the THIRD DAY
III b: The BLUE PLANET matches Moses’ second half of the THIRD DAY
IV: The ICE BALL matches Moses’ FOURTH DAY
V: The GREEN PLANET matches Moses‘ FIFTH DAY
3: How the Era Ended
According to Science
The enormous boom of life in the sea and in the swamps
came to an abrupt ending by another major catastrophe
that eliminated 90 percent of living creatures.
This happened 0.25 b (250 m) years ago by gas bubbles
that surfaced and exploded all over Earth,
decimating Vegetation and Animal alike.
“Earth would never see such a devastation,” says the HC.
What caused the fiery explosions? – No one knows for sure.
The huge gas bubbles came out from under the tectonic plates,
exploding in the air. Such bubbles have been seen also recently
in India and Siberia.
Though the devastation was great, yet it opened a door for other
more sophisticated creatures to develop.
4: Moses Account Of
the End of the FIFTH Day
Here is what Moses says about the end of the Fifth Day:
(1: 21)” And ELHM said that it was good”
(1: 22) “And ELHM blessed them saying: Be fruitful and multiply
and fill the Water and the Sea, and the flying creatures shall multiply on Earth,
(1: 23) And there was evening, and there was morning, the FIFTH Day (was over.)
Moses says that at the end the FIFTH Day,
the All-Mighty JUDGE ELHM passed a judgment
on everything He had created earlier on that Day.
And as usual, His judgment was harsh, just and merciless.
The creatures He deems ‘not good anymore’ He eliminated,
while the creatures He deemed ‘good’ He allowed to endure
and enter the next, Sixth Day. They could support it.
This harsh Judgment of ELKM CAN perfectly match the fiery catastrophe
that decimated much of life on Earth, yet opening the door
for higher creatures to evolve.
.
COMPARING THE SIXTH DAY of CREATION
1: The Scientific Narrative
The fiery explosions that occurred 250 m years ago advanced Earth
into a new phase. The surviving creatures blossomed.
Rodenia, that had split, consolidated again and formed the last
Super Continent, Pangaea.
Pangaea was the classical world of the huge prehistorical creatures
that roamed the Earth (Triassic and Jurassic Periods).
The air was rich with nutrients spewed by the volcanic activity
and the temperature was tropical.
This new environment prompted the Vegetation to grow
taller and thicker than before. The Ozone layer thickened too,
shielding the animals from the Sun’s radiati
The new animals also grew taller and bigger with no hindrance.
Life of all kinds ‘exploded’ again, this time also on the Dry Land, the Continent.
Large leaf-eaters, Cattle-like creatures occupied the swamps,
their fat bellies and short legs were supported by the shallow waters.
They could not run fast.
Soon they were followed by huge Beasts-like predators that could ran fast
and feed on the Cattle-like. Among them the dinosaurs, some tall as “seven stories building.”
2: Moses’ Account of the SIXTH Day
Moses says, that as the Sixth Day dawned,
ELKM continued to create like never before. Thus-
“(1:24) And ELoHiM said let the Earth bring forth living creatures after their kind,
Cattle and Creeping things and Beast of the Earth after their kind,
and everything that Creeps on Earth after their kind, and it was so.
(1:25) And ELoHiM made the Beasts of the land to its kind,
and the Cattle after their kind, and everything that creeps on the Earth
after their kind. And ELoHiM saw that it was good.
In the Sixth Day, ELKM created first Cattle-like,
then Beast-like then Creeping things.
This concurs well with the scientific account mentioned above –
(Besides the “creeping things on the ground”.)
Then came Time Magazine and saved our faith in Moses.
The magazine published on the front page a picture
of a skeleton of a giant snake recently discovered
so large, that it could accommodate “Two Greyhound buses side by side.”
And this was a skeleton of a young snake!
Time Magazine explained that after the demise of the dinosaurs,
the room was opened for snakes to grow uninhibitedly.
Thus, for the next millions of years, those huge snakes crawled all over
and consumed everything on their path.
They ruled Earth for a long time, as Moses says here.
Some of those snakes probably lived in caves as Dragons
side by side with humans.
How could Moses know that?
3: The End of Pangea’s Creatures
You know the story. About 70 M years ago another major catastrophe
hit our planet in the form of a large meteor that plunged into the ground
near the Mexican Gulf and arose so much ash that wiped out all the
giant creatures of Pangea, such as the dinosaurs.
As devastating as it was, this catastrophe opened the door for other
creatures, like mammals to proliferate.
This – science says – ended with us, Mankind.
Let’s see now what Moses says about that period.
4: The Midday Judgement of the Sixth Day
According to Moses
Moses says, that while the Sixth Day was still in progress,
ELKM paused and conducted another Midday, Premature Judgment
on everything He had created earlier on the Sixth Day.
As it is said,
(1: 25) “And the All-Mighty JUDGE ELKM saw that it was good.”
A Midday Judgment means an urgent, crucial Judgment.
Such a Midday Judgment had happened on the THIRD Day
when Earth stood at a crossroad – would it see Life on it or not?
Now again, at the Middle of the SIXTH Day, Earth stood
at a crossroad: Would it see Adam on it, or not?
Moses also says that ELKM decreed that “it was good.”
He would bring Adam on Earth.
Moreover, conditions were ripe for introducing Adam.
But as before, saying that it was good also implies that those
who were not “good” would be eliminated, like a useless scaffold.
This “no good” verdict CAN fit perfectly well the elimination of
the huge creatures of Pangea. They certainly would not be able
to live side by side with Mankind. ELKM had to choose,
and in His wisdom, He chose us.
Hence, we have:
I: The RED PLANET matches Moses’ FIRST DAY
II: The WATER WORLD matches Moses’ SECOND DAY
III a: The GRANITE WORLD matches Moses’ first part of the THIRD DAY
III b: The BLUE PLANET matches Moses’ second half of the THIRD DAY
IV: The ICE BALL matches Moses’ FOURTH DAY
V: The GREEN PLANET matches Moses’ FIFTH DAY
VI: The CURRENT PLANT fits Moses’ SIXTH DAY
Conclusion
How extraordinary it is, that Moses’ Six Days of CREATION,
fits so well the scientific recognition of
six stages of the history of Earth.
How extraordinary it is that Moses’ Genesis differs so much
from all ancient myths about CREATION told in his time,
which Moses must have known, having been raised
in Pharaoh’s home.
Hence there is no need to explain Genesis as an allegory,
or the animals in it as Holy Beasts,
or to discard science because it “negates the Torah.”
On the contrary, we should spread the knowledge that
Genesis tells the true story of CREATION, in a way that
is fully credited by our science.
We should recognize Genesis – and the entire five books of Moses –
as a living miracle in our hands,
perhaps the only miracle we can see and touch with our hands.
We don’t need to BELIEVE in it, just SEE it.
What makes our analysis so successful
is the recognition of the CREATOR, ELKM,
as a BUILDER-JUDGE, who builds and also destroys.
Thus, we could include all the major catastrophes
that hit our plant, according to science, in Moses’ story.
Amazingly, as it turns out, all those catastrophes that hit Earth
occurred precisely at the transition of one Day to the next Day,
when ELKM passed a judgment, according to Moses.
As one group of creatures were eliminated,
the next ones, more sophisticated, settled in.
We can thus see in our own eyes how the CREATOR, ELKM,
advanced His CREATION effectively from Day to Day.
Now we can also understand why Moses placed Genesis
at the front of his five books.
As a true prophet he suspected that a generation would rise
and doubt the validity of his revelation.
He therefore wrote Genesis that would blow their minds!
And since we are the first generation
capable of matching Genesis with science,
it seems that Moses had us on his mind.
And if Genesis is so true,
so are the rest of his Five Books!
We should therefore raise Genesis as a banner
for the truthfulness of the Torah, instead of hiding it.
WE CAN UNDERSTAND THE TALMUD SAYING THAT
G-D LOOKED AT THE TORAH AND CREATED THE WORLD.
HE LOOKED AT CHAPTER ONE
AND CREATED THE SIX DAYS ACCORDINGLY, LITERALLY.
Having described the Six Days,
Moses turns to the creation of Man.
